Development ：　
    We can divide the 18-year history of our company into 4 steps: from the founding to 1990’s is the difficult fumbling period, and we mainly produced local communication cables with less pairs; from 1991 to 1995 is the aggressive period, we spend about ten million yuan and successfully developed telecommunication cables with more pairs, and we got to a new stage of our size, sales and benefit; from 1996 to 2000 is developing period, we input 10.52million yuan and successfully developed Railway Signal Cable; in this century, we input 42million yuan, and we adjust our product structure strategically to develop data cables of Cat 5, Cat 5e, Cat 6 and Cat 7.

Equipment ： 　
    Presently, we have one cable core eccentricity testing apparatus, one TEL-35 skin-foam-skin Tandem line, two suites of high-speed Quading machines from France SETIC company, one MEA testing machine made in Germany, more than 60 equipments of drawing benches, insulation machines, twisting machines, laying up machines, sheath lines, coilers and more than 20 testing apparatuses. The value of imported machines is about 31million yuan, and occupies about 82% of the total value.

Product Structure ： 　
    Now we produce five categories with 200 specifications of cables: local telecommunication cable (the most pairs is 2400), railway signal cable and railway signal digital cable, data cable (Cat5, Cat5e, Cat6 and Cat7), special cable (such as: calculating wheel cable, long way symmetrical telecommunication cable, I/O cable, special cable for city underground light rail, etc.), power cable. All these products have passed the strict test of the national quality test department, and has national department authorized the certificates. From August 2002, we engaged national experts and a group of professional technical staffs to study and develop industrial powder anti-explode product, and fill up the national and international blank.

Market Sales ： 　
    After 10 years efforts, our product has covered the whole country except Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao. And a batch of our product enter into some big companies, such as six telecommunication companies of China, 14 railway departments, several power companies, Tsinghua Tongfang, Beida Fangzheng, Sinopec, and our product also uses in many large projects, such as Wuguang, Zhuliu, Hada, Haqi, Xihe, Heri, Ningqi, etc. Our railway signal cable occupies 30% of the national railway cable market.

    In 1996, we got the IS09002 quality certificate, in June 2002 we got IS09001: 2000 quality control system changing certificate. During the ninth five years, our company was titled as Jiangsu Civilized Company, Jiangsu Star Company, Jiangsu High and New Technology Company and Jiangsu Demonstrated Company of General Management; Dongqiang Brand has been authorized as Jiangsu Famous Brand for 7 years. Product with Dongqiang Brand is authorized as Jiangsu Famous Product. Railway signal cable and composite shield signal cable get the title of National Key New Product. And now we are declaring for National Famous Brand. From 2002, our company has won the titles of National Trust Keeping and Law Abiding Enterprise, National IT Advanced Group, National Contract Abiding and Promise Keeping Enterprise, National High and New Technology Enterprise. Our company and our product enjoy high reputation in China. On October 2002, with the authorization of National Personnel’s Ministry, we established the Postdoctoral Research Station of Dongqiang Company; on June 5th 2003, we set up research base and ran in Science and Technology Department of Xi’an Jiaotong University. On April 2004, we came to a cooperation agreement with Kerpen GmbH & Co. KG, Germany, and established Kerpen (Dongtai) Cable Co., Ltd.

    Our company sets up party committee, stocker meeting, board of directors, supervisory committee, office, produce and equipment department, technology and quality department, technics department, finance department, new product developing department, human resources department, quality control department, checking office, sales company, trade union, the communist youth league department. Our staffs are capable and occupy 13.5% of the workers.
