¡¡¡¡ The Result for the Competition of ¡°Insulation Core Splicing¡±
¡¡¡¡ On December 22nd, 2004, human resource department, produce and equipment department and technique and quality department held a competition with the theme of ¡°insulation core splicing¡±, in order to promote the work of reducing cost and increasing benefit, reducing waste and improving the quality of insulation core splicing. Leaders of the company gave us much support, so that the competition gained the anticipative effect.

On November 26th 2004, the delegation of 20 professors and experts of Shanghai Communication University came to Jiangsu Dongqiang Co., Ltd for investigation, including Wu Dan, the personnel chief of Shanghai Communication University, Yao Xun, Liu Yukong, the vice personnel chief, Wei Hong, the president of trade union organization, An Mei, the officer of post doctor management.
¡¡¡¡ With the accompany of Mr. Wang, president of Jiangsu Dongqiang Co., Ltd, Mr. Wu and his fellows visited our data cable plant, digital signal cable plant, and the MEA automatic test center, which is imported from Germany.
On October 19th 2004, Jiangsu Dongqiang Co., Ltd's post-doctorial scientific research workstation is listed formally in Shanghai Communication University. Zhang Wenjun, vice president of Shanghai Communication University, some relevant professors, some doctor tutors, experts and leaders of post-doctorial workstation of Shanghai Communication University. Lu Deyu, chief of personnel bureau of Yancheng City, Cheng Pei, chief of expert office, and Zhang Daqiang, vice minister of Dongtai Organization Department and chief of personnel burear are present at the ceremony. Wang Zichun, secretary of Party committee and president of Jiangsu Dongqiang Co., Ltd, has done an ardent speech.
¡¡¡¡At the afternoon of September 23rd 2004, Yu Jun, member of the standing committee of municipal Party committee in Yancheng of the Communist Party of China, minister in charge of organizational work, with the accompanying of Wang Guangwen, deputy secretary, and Zhou Jun, minister in charge of organizational work of Dongtai municipal Party committee, investigated the Party building work in Dongqiang.
¡¡¡¡ After listening to the report about enterprise¡¯s production, operation, developing plan and the establishment of Party organization from Wang Zichun, our president and Party committee, minister Yu Jun has given an important speech. He points out emphatically: one-hundred-year Dongqiang, talent is the first. This requires Dongqiang strengthen talent training, train own permanent talent. Meanwhile push the project of ¡°fly back¡±, and make more talents come to Dongqiang, in order to establish the basis for ¡°one-hundred-year Dongqiang¡±. While affirming fully Dongqiang¡¯s achievement of the establishment of Party organization, minister Yu Jun asked to press close to further and launch the Party building and work around economic. Give further play to Party members in the marketing, product researching, create brand to upgrade, enterprise management, county structure adjustment and agriculture industrialization, etc. and exemplary role in finishing emergency and disaster work. Minister Yu points out: Dongqiang, as the model of ¡°two strong¡± of Dongtai, should help direct county organization to make developing plan, carry out the project of getting rich, strengthen village level economy constantly, in order to make more peasants become rich.
¡¡¡¡ During the investigation, minister Yu Jun and the entourage visited the production plant, and gave a high reputation to the introducing of the first class equipment, managing experience and high new product development.
On September 6th 2004, Mr. Kuester, the vice president who in charge of finance of Kerpen Germany, came Dongqiang for investigation with Mr. Roger, the general manger of Kerpen (Southeast Asia) Cables Co., Ltd. We discussed some specific things of the setting up and starting operation. Leaders of the city, such as Chu Jinquan, Gu Pengfei, Chen Ping, sincerely welcomed them.
¡¡¡¡Mr. Kuester investigated the work plant and equipment of Dongqiang. He looked at them very carefully, and felt very satisfied with that. And Mr. Kuester visited the new talent building of Dongqiang.
¡¡¡¡In the sincere and friendly atmosphere, Mr. Kuester and Wang Zichun, president of Dongqiang, deeply talked about various kinds of specific things, such as the establishment of Kerpen (Dongtai) Cables Co., Ltd, product, sales, input, recruitment of workers, financial plan, transportation, custom, power support, etc. This shows that Kerpen (Dongtai) Cables Co., Ltd has formally entered the substantive stage.
